Height/Physical Description: 6 feet in height and width. Grayish stems, branches and leaves that look sparse. Bright orange-red flowers in the Spring. Hummingbirds are attracted to the flowers.
Use: Food. Edible flowers.
Harvesting: Edible flowers form in Spring and can be eaten fresh. It is said the flowers taste like cucumbers.
Preparation: Flowers are eaten fresh.
